On Tuesday night, September 15, 2020, a fox got into our chicken coup and killed some of Jeremy's chickens. His favorite chicken, DooDah (the rooster), is still missing. Daffy and Hei Hei died, and Link has been critically injured. Roadrunner and Zippity are the only two healthy ones left.

This slideshow is a memorial to Jeremy's sweet chickens, and also a shout-out to the most brave little boy who, after crying and deeply grieving, walked down in the dark to the coup and grabbed the two chickens by the feet who were dead, walked them up to the hole Daddy dug in the ground and helped him bury them.

Jeremy, this is a very difficult life lesson, and I'm so sorry you went through this. We love you so much.
